Dr Harrison is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator for the Graduate program in Physician Assistant Studies at Mercy University. As the Clinical Coordinator she oversees 55-60 graduate students in the Bronx campus coordinating their clinical Clerkship.  She is a graduate of the York College Physician Assistant Program and has over 10 years of experience in clinical medicine, in various specialties including General Surgery, Critical Care, Psychiatry and Hospital Medicine.

Prior to joining Mercy University, Dr. Harrison worked as a Critical Care Physician Assistant at Mercy Hospital. Where she was a key member on the team that oversaw hospital Rapid Response and Codes. Dr. Harrison also previously served as a Surgical Physician Assistant at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital and is skilled in teaching and mentoring medical professionals on professional and regulatory requirements.

She is passionate about humanitarian work and continues to make a difference in the local and global health community. The experiences gained during these mission trips, has help Dr. Harrison grow and develop a greater love for humanity as she assists in saving lives, relieving suffering, and maintaining human dignity.
