Welcome to the Office of the Provost at Mercy University.
Mercy University Office of the Provosts oversees all of Academic Affairs at Mercy University. We are a team of over 1,000 individuals across six academic schools, the libraries, registrar, career services, center for teaching and learning, center for educational excellence and innovation, office of sponsored research and institutional research. Together these teams and offices work together to support the educational success of more than 8,000 students. Mercy University collective mission is to transform lives through education. This is brave challenging work, ensuring student success, our north star is achieved through thoughtful sustainable change to ensure higher education is preparing graduates for career and beyond. This work ensures we have a responsive academic portfolio and faculty who demonstrate teaching excellence to meet the demands of higher education for student success from application to graduation.

Executive Assistant to the Provost
Oversees course schedules, registration, and Academic Calendar; processes declarations of majors and minors, enrollment verifications, immunization records, and transcript requests; maintains student records, conferral of degrees, and diplomas.
Provides training opportunities and support to faculty teaching online, hybrid and web-enhanced courses.

Guides and supports faculty and staff in improving the quality of courses, programs, and the student learning experience by clarifying expectations and using reliable and valid measures of learning achievement to determine the impact of pedagogical and support strategies.

Provides a learning environment for assistance in writing, math, science and other subjects.
Engages with faculty colleagues to advance innovative pedagogy and best practices across the curriculum and in the disciplines.
Supports Mercy faculty and staff in seeking external funding for research, teaching, and related endeavors. The Office provides pre- and post-award services to those interested in pursuing grant funding.

Supports Mercy students as they explore their goals, build their skills, and prepare for their future. The office provides résumé reviews, internship opportunities, and access to career fairs that connect students with employers and meaningful career pathways.

The Office of ACCESSibility collaborates with and empowers students who have disabilities in order to coordinate support services, reasonable accommodations and programs that enable equal access to education and college life.
