Associate Professor of Mathematics Education

Dr. William L. Farber, Associate Professor of Mathematics Education, is celebrating 15 years of service at Mercy University. A United States Navy veteran and accomplished educator, he brings deep expertise in mathematics teaching and learning, cultivating a positive, engaging classroom environment that empowers students to think critically and confidently. Through his instruction, research, and commitment to advancing excellence in mathematics education, he continues to inspire the next generation of teachers.

Konrad Motyka

Konrad Motyka

Associate Vice President for Campus Safety and Emergency Management

Konrad Motyka serves as Associate Vice President for Campus Safety and Emergency Management at Mercy University, where he has dedicated more than seven years to ensuring the safety and security of students, faculty, staff and visitors across all three campuses. A United States Marine Corps veteran and federal law enforcement officer, Motyka brings a deep sense of integrity, discipline and leadership to his role, qualities that continue to shape Mercy’s culture of care and preparedness.

Interim Associate Dean, School of Nursing

Dr. Valerie Taylor-Haslip, Interim Associate Dean of Mercy University’s School of Nursing, brings decades of experience as an educator, nurse and leader in health care and higher education. A United States Air Force veteran and lifelong advocate for student success, she is dedicated to fostering excellence in nursing education while promoting innovation, inclusivity and continuous improvement. Though new to Mercy, she has quickly become a valued member of the community, guiding faculty and students with empathy, purpose and vision.

Executive Director of Facilities Management

Manley Cameros, Executive Director of Facilities Management at Mercy University, has dedicated six years to ensuring the university’s campuses run safely, efficiently and without interruption. A United States Army veteran and former combat medic, he brings a mission-driven mindset to his work, emphasizing service, teamwork and dependability. Through his leadership, Mercy’s facilities team helps create the safe, comfortable and reliable learning environments that allow students to thrive.
