Earn your bachelor's degree and continue on to medical school through Mercy University and St. George’s University’s 4+4 BS/MD partnership.
About the Program
Mercy University has partnered with St. George’s University (SGU) to offer students an opportunity to earn their Bachelor’s of Science and then continue on a pathway to earn their Doctor of Medicine.
Additionally, students interested in earning their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University can enter the pathway through Mercy’s Biology: Animal Sciences program for undergraduate studies and then enter the DVM program at SGU.
Students enrolled in this 4+4 BS/MD degree will spend the first four years of their studies at Mercy University in one of our Biology programs. Qualified students will then proceed to Grenada to enter SGU’s four-year Doctor of Medicine program. Students in the program are able to complete clinicals and residencies in New York and the United States and go on to complete licensure in the U.S. as well.
