Summer Sessions at CTL 2026: From Chatbot to Co-Pilot: Using AI to Structure High-Impact Classroom Activities (in Statistics)
Main Hall : Suite G5
From Chatbot to Co-Pilot: Using AI to Structure High-Impact Classroom Activities (in
Statistics)
Facilitator: Dr. Jeong Kim, SSBS
This interactive workshop shows how to use AI as a “co-pilot” to design engaging, reasoningfocused classroom activities rather than answer-generating shortcuts. Using examples from a statistics course, participants will see how structured prompts, guided feedback, and process-based assessment (AI Audit) can improve student understanding and engagement. Faculty will leave with ready-to-use templates adaptable across disciplines. Participants will be able to design AI-assisted activities that promote critical thinking and create structured prompts that guide student reasoning.
Hybrid session: Join us in person at the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Hub, Main Hall, Suite G5, or online via Zoom.
Please check your email or the CTL Faculty Professional Development Resources Blackboard Organization and the Upcoming Events at CTL folder to register.
