The 6-hour DASA workshop fulfills NYSED and School District requirements for school professionals and for anyone seeking a teaching certificate, whether it is initial, professional, or adding on a new certification*. You do not have to be a current or former student of Mercy College to register for the DASA workshop. Everyone is welcome.
The DASA workshop is now offered online only. Each workshop is divided into two 3-hour segments. One part will be offered in a live, online format. Workshop dates are available when you click on the Click Here to Register button at the bottom of the page. The other part of the workshop is a self-directed module that students complete on their own time.
*In some cases, the DASA workshop can be used towards professional development hours. (Check with your employer or your licensure office for guidance.)
