Dr. Osakwe's research focuses on improving the quality of care for homebound older adults, particularly those living with dementia, across home health and hospice settings. Her work advances practical decision-support strategies for frontline nurses to improve clinical decision-making, care transitions, and patient outcomes in the home care setting. In nursing education, she focuses on nurse faculty mentorship and academic–clinical partnerships that strengthen the nursing workforce and prepare the next generation of nurses.
