Dr. Marilyn Campbell is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing. She earned her doctoral degree in nursing education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her dissertation focused on a comparative study of unit-based versus centralized education, showcasing her dedication to advancing teaching strategies in nursing education. Dr. Marilyn Campbell graduated magna cum laude from Mercy College in 2015 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, in 2014. Transitioning from a career in accounting, she embarked on her nursing journey in 2010. Since then, Dr. Campbell has devoted much of her professional career to Montefiore Medical Center, where she has honed her skills and expertise in the field. Dr. Campbell's deep love for nursing and passion for teaching have shaped her career, leading her to esteemed institutions such as the College of New Rochelle, Helene Fuld College of Nursing, and Mercy University. Her extensive experience and expertise have made her an invaluable asset to the Mercy University School of Nursing. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Campbell enjoys traveling, cooking, and gardening, embracing a well-rounded and fulfilling lifestyle.
