CNR Alumni Legacy Council
The CNR Alumni Legacy Council
The CNR Alumni Legacy Council is guided by alumni volunteers who have remained engaged throughout the CNR transition to Mercy University. The Council works closely with the Office of Institutional Advancement to preserve the spirit of Serviam, the motto of The College of New Rochelle, which means “I will serve.”
The Council meets regularly throughout the year to share ideas, monitor progress, and discuss future plans. Council committees focus on stewardship and fundraising for the CNR Serviam Endowed Scholarship Fund and development of the CNR E-Newsletter. The Council also supports initiatives such as student mentoring opportunities and programming for the Sister Dorothy Ann Kelly Lifelong Enrichment Series. In addition, Council members and alumni volunteers champion causes that reflect the values of the CNR community, including support for Mercy University's Mav Market, an on-campus free food and resource pantry.
