Michael Hayes

Michael Hayes ’92, H.D. ‘21 is a Partner at PKF O’Connor Davies LLP and a Partner, PKF O’Connor Davies Advisory LLC and a member of Mercy College’s Board of Trustees.

Hayes has nearly 30 years of experience, including over 15 years at two of the “Big Four” accounting firms. He is a seasoned asset management and asset allocator specialist having vast experience serving financial services and endowment clients.

Throughout his career, he has gained diverse industry exposure to the private equity, venture capital, credit, fund of funds, endowment portfolio, higher education and pension segments.

In addition, he has experience across asset management, capital markets, fin-tech, ESG, deal diligence, operational improvement, private foundations, college and universities and other cultural institutions.

At PKF O’Connor Davies LLP, Hayes is the firm’s New England Financial Services Leader. He is poised to provide the marketplace a truly differentiated delivery of key consulting, assurance, and tax services scaled to asset managers and asset allocators of all sizes.

Hayes has served on numerous tax-exempt boards and is an active member of his community.
