The Office of Educational Assessment supports faculty in their efforts to promote continuous improvement of student learning by providing direction in the use of sound assessment practices that reveal the impact of pedagogical and curriculum changes.
OEA provides faculty support related to:
- Defining program and course learning goals and learning outcomes
- Planning and implementing assessment at the program and course levels
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
- Reporting and presenting findings
- Identifying and implementing strategies to improve student learning
- Completing five-year academic program self-studies
