A Message From the President
An Invitation to Make a Difference
At Mercy, leadership on the Board of Trustees isn’t about titles. It’s about showing up for students and helping ensure they have what they need to succeed and build the lives they’re working toward.
Mercy was founded on a simple idea: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Our students are ambitious and determined. Many are the first in their families to attend college. Many are balancing work, family, and school. All are working toward something bigger.
That’s what makes Mercy different and why this work matters. When the right support is in place, it can change the trajectory of a life.

Your Leadership, Their Future
Behind every statistic is a student making a decision: to stay, to push forward, to believe it’s possible. Sometimes, what makes that decision possible isn’t visible. It’s a scholarship. A safety net. A moment of support at exactly the right time. It’s leadership like yours.

"The board approved the emergency housing fund that kept me enrolled my sophomore year. Most students don't know the board exists — but decisions made in those rooms changed my life."
Jennifer Clarke · Class of 2024, First-Generation Graduate
Now: Graduate Researcher, School of Public Health
