Dr. Hahn is an Assistant Professor of Behavioral Science and Sociology at Mercy University. She primarily teaches courses related to gerontology, medical sociology, and methodology. Currently she serves as Secretary for the Institutional and Professional Standards Committee and sits on the Assessment of Student Learning (CASL) Committee. She is also the SSBS School Assessment Coordinator.

My research interests in gerontology include perceptions and attitudes toward aging, ageism, and death and dying. With regards to pedagogy and student learning, I am interested in assessment, high-impact practices, and service-learning.
