About
Dr. De Los Reyes is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse. At the Mercy University School of Nursing, he serves as inpatient coordinator for the psychiatric and mental health nursing clinical rotation. He is currently the Director of the Nursing High School Scholars and Influencers (HSSI) Program. The Nursing HSSI Program, funded by the Petrie and Pinkerton Foundation, fast-tracks high school students from Bronx County into the BSN program, aiming to transform them into public health influencers.
University service includes active membership on the School of Nursing Committees: the Program Review Committee for the Nursing HSSI and the Health Equity Influencers Program (HEIP), the Faculty Development Committee (FDC), the Simulation Optimization Committee, (SOC), and the Nursing Assessment Committee (NAC). The NAC provides periodic data to the Office of Educational Assessment (OEA) at Mercy University to support continuous improvement in student learning and to ensure that nursing courses meet the pedagogical and curricular standards of accrediting institutions. He was also appointed as one of the School of Nursing representatives to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of Mercy University.
At the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), he serves on the Addictions and Recovery Panel and is a board exam item writer at the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). He is also an active member of the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA), where he serves as Auditor of the New Jersey Chapter and Education Committee Chair of the PNANJ Bergen/Passaic County subchapter. In the community, he manages the treasury for the Rockland County Camp of Gideons International.
Dr. De Los Reyes officially joined the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) as a Fellow on December 1, 2025. He was also inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Diversity Leaders in Nursing (ADLN) on December 12, 2025.
