Stony Wold-Herbert Fund

A privately endowed, non-profit organization dedicated to fighting pulmonary diseases throughout the New York City region. The Direct Service Grant Program, a part of the Fund, provides financial assistance to students with respiratory ailments and is intended to help recipients complete their education and become self-sustaining, independent members of the community.  

Grants are available to:

• Any student with a pulmonary problem who lives in the New York City area
• Undergraduate students within the New York metropolitan area who demonstrate financial need and otherwise meet Stony Wold's qualifications

Grants average $250 per month. Maximum of four years. The Fund dispenses approximately $80,000 per year.
