Message from the Dean of the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences
Message from Dean Stuart Sidle
Welcome to the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. I am Stuart Sidle and I am the Dean of the School.
The faculty at the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences are dedicated to our undergraduate and graduate students because we know they will change the world! We teach and learn from our students who are interested in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, Social Work, Legal Studies, Political Science, Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice and International Relations and Diplomacy.
The academic programs in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences are among the most popular at Mercy University and across the nation. We provide students with the essential skills needed in any career or profession – strong analytical ability, excellent communication proficiency, conflict management skills and life-long intellectual curiosity. Students learn from our experienced faculty about what makes people “tick” as individuals and how they interact in families, schools, in the international arena, public policy, legal settings and health care contexts.
When you enroll in one of our programs, you will join a community of students who share your passion for helping others and for pursuing social justice.
I hope that you will join us in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences! We are located in Mahoney Hall. Please contact us if you have any questions.
