Data Analytics is the field of business focused on utilizing quantitative information (data) to make strategic business decisions. This is an important distinction between Data Sciences (Computer Sciences), which focuses on utilizing data to commoditize a process, create a product, etc.

*ECON 125, ECON 220, ECON 221, and ECON 230, MATH 116 and MATH 131 / CISC 131 are Prerequisites for the major and must be used to fulfill general education requirements.
